FATES WARNING Bassist Checks In From DREAM THEATER/QUEENSRŸCHE Tour

July 12, 2003

FATES WARNING bassist Joey Vera has posted the following message to his official web site:

"The tour [with DREAM THEATER and QUEENSRŸCHE] is going great! The response for FATES has been overwhelmingly great. Many thanks to those of you who have come out early to see the show.

"The QUEENSRŸCHE and DREAM THEATER guys are all very cool people and there's a really great vibe between all of the friends old and new. Also the production staff and all of the crew guys have been extremely cool and helpful as well, and trust me, that is rare. I'm having a great time out here on this tour and I'm getting very spoiled by it, wishing every tour could be this fun and easy to deal with.

"I urge any of you to come see the show as the sets played by all 3 bands is killer. Both QUEENSRŸCHE and DREAM THEATER are smoking! Blowing everyone away every night. Don't miss it!

"Also, a really cool thing for FATES is that we're seeing a lot of people coming out who maybe have heard of the band but are not very familiar with the music and are leaving blown away. That's not a biased opinion either, just check out the message boards at QUEENSRŸCHE's and DREAM THEATER's sites. By the end of our set, the whole place is on their feet cheering. Means we're doing something right, and it's quite the good feeling."
