FATAL SMILE Performs RONNIE JAMES DIO Tribute Song In Pratteln (Video)

November 9, 2010

Video footage of Swedish hard rockers FATAL SMILE performing their Ronnie James Dio tribute song, "For The Last In Line", on October 31, 2010 at the Galery Music Bar in Pratteln, Switzerland can be viewed below.

"For The Last In Line" was written in May a few days after the passing of Ronnie James Dio. FATAL SMILE vocalist Blade stated at the time about the track, "Y [guitar] sent me a piano ballad he wrote while saddened by the horrible tragedy of Ronnie's passing due to cancer. That night I wrote the lyrics and melody to the song 'For The Last In Line'.

"We decided to have it recorded and released in the name of Ronnie's new fund, Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund.

"Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund is registered as owner of this song, and gets 100% of all sales!"

"Buy it to support his cause, the fight against cancer."

FATAL SMILE's third album, "World Domination", was released in the U.S. in April 2008 via Locomotive Records. The CD, which was issued in Europe on February 15, 2008, was mixed by the legendary producer Michael Wagener (METALLICA, OZZY OSBOURNE, MÖTLEY CRÜE).
