August 15, 2010

Upstate New York metal band FALLEN ANGEL, which features in its ranks former JOEY BELLADONNA guitarist Robb Lotta, was recently interviewed on the Hit List 101. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.

FALLEN ANGEL has been hard at work writing and recording its fallen angel saga, which is described in a press release as "a bold effort to combine works of fiction, incredible artwork, and intense musical compositions." The press release adds, "While it is true that others in the industry have had conceptual albums accompanied by incredible artwork in the past, this is the first time a work of fiction has been done in novel form to help create such an epic conceptual project. It is also the first time a conceptual idea will span across three separate CD releases to relate its complete saga. the group has additional plans to release a graphic novel comic book series in addition to the full-length novels to further relate the story to the bands fans."

The first CD and novel, "Fallen Angel - Crawling Out Of Hell", is out now and will be followed up by "Fallen Angel - Cast Out Of Heaven". Cruppe states that the links between the music, the lyrics, the artwork, and the novels helps to create an enormous landscape for his characters, while also creating multiple pieces of an artistic puzzle to excite the band's fans.
