FAKTION Parts Ways With ROADRUNNER RECORDS

November 14, 2006

Drummer Jeremy Moore of the Dallas, TX-based quintet FAKTION has issued the following update:

"Remember a little over two years ago when we were excited to announce that we had signed a deal with Roadrunner Records? Well, now we are even more excited to announce that we will no longer be working with them! This opens us up for the new beginning we've been wanting. We have one more show this year and are, then, hanging it up so that we can hold up in the practice room to work on new material. Keep an eye out for a new record and a whole new FAKTION in the year 2007!!!!"

FAKTION's self-titled debut was released in March 2006 via Roadrunner. The group's music was previously described as "emotional, melodic, but aggressive rock with a metal edge." The band's influences "include, but are not limited to, FLAW's aggression and SEVENDUST's live performance, combined with STAIND or FUEL's engaging diapason."
