F5 Featured On 'Unleashed' Compilation CD

September 18, 2007

F5 — the Phoenix-based band featuring former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, ex-SICK SPEED vocalist Dale Steele, drummer David Small, and guitarists Steve Conley and John Davis — has issued the following update:

"Our song 'Disidence' is on a compilation CD [entitled 'Unleashed']. In case you haven't seen it, the 'official' site is www.myspace.com/unleashedthree. The video trailer for the CD was made by Piggy D, bassist for ROB ZOMBIE. A snippet of 'Dissidence' is at the end of the trailer. Bull Moose Music/Newbury Comics will be carrying the free CD and giving them out to customers and it looks like all FYE/Strawberries/Sam Goody etc. on the East Coast will be doing the same. We hope you pick up a copy. We are still working on our sophomore release and can't wait for you all to hear it!"

F5's debut album, "A Drug for all Seasons", was released in North America in September 2005 via Cleopatra Records. The original version of "A Drug for all Seasons" is also available in Asia on JVC Victor Entertainment and in Europe on Mascot Records.

F5, whose sound is being described as guitar-heavy melodic hard rock, recorded the album last year at a Phoenix-area studio with producer Ryan Greene, who had previously worked with Ellefson in 1991 on the demos for MEGADETH's "Countdown to Extinction" album.
