F**K THE FACTS: 'Disgorge Mexico' Not Receiving Vinyl Release Through COPTERCRASH

January 1, 2009

Canada grind masters FUCK THE FACTS have issued the following update:

"Coptercrash Records will NOT be releasing our newest full-length, 'Disgorge Mexico', on double vinyl LP. They were set to do it and it was oh so close, but due to the most common reason a small label can have, 'financial problems,' they had to back out. It's a bummer... we're bummed, but we don't want people out there trying to pre-order something that doesn't even exist. There are posts all over the Internet about it and it's even in a few print publications, so just ignore that shit. If you did pre-order it already and didn't get your money back yet, contact Coptercrash.

"We are still exploring options to get 'Disgorge Mexico' released as a double LP, and it will definitely happen at some point. But when, by who and all those other details are still up in the air. We're definitely interested in hearing from any labels that might feel up to the task, so you can message us [on MySpace] if you want some details. Serious dudes/dudettes only please."

The CD version of "Disgorge Mexico" was released on July 22 (July 28 internationally) via Relapse Records. The initial tracks for the effort were laid down in August 2007 at Liverpool Court Studios in Ottawa with producer Craig Boychuk. The band recorded the vocals in November 2007 at its own home studio. The LP was mixed and mastered by Craig Boychuk in Winnipeg between December 2007 and March 2008.

Metal Injection has posted a new clip of FUCK THE FACTS performing at Club Rebel in New York City in October of last year. Watch the footage below.
