Several photos from EYEHATEGOD's February 8 headlining performance at The Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans, Louisiana have been posted online at NolaUnderground.com (scroll down page).EYEHATEGOD recently re-released its ultra-rare "99 Miles of Bad Road" seven-inch on CD through Canada's Moshpit Tragedy Records. The CD features re-mastered demo recordings of the songs "99 Miles of Bad Road", "Story of the Eye" and "Jackass in the Will of God" (originally released on Brazil's 2+2=5 Records) as well as bonus live tracks and enhanced live video footage. Regarded as the founders of American sludgecore, EYEHATEGOD has become one of the most important bands to emerge from the NOLA (New Orleans, Louisana) metal scene. EYEHATEGOD formed in 1988 and became known for their heavy, detuned and bluesy guitar riffs, combined with walls of feedback and tortured vocals to create a harsh misanthropic vibe.
