EXUMER Announces First-Ever U.S. Appearance

December 1, 2008

German cult thrashers EXUMER will headline a thrash metal festival on May 29, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. This will mark EXUMER's first U.S. appearance in the band's 23-year history.

The festival billing is as follows:

EXUMER
MERCILESS DEATH
FUELED BY FIRE
SAKRIFICER
DEVASTATOR
DISMANTLE
INFANTRY
INFERNAL DAMNATION
LETHAL DOSSAGE
DEMONSLAUGHT
SCYTHTE

Commented EXUMER frontman Mem V. Stein: "We are extremely excited to come and finally play in North America. The last time the band played outside of Europe was in 1988, in Brazil. It will also be amazing to play alongside of some very talented young thrash metal bands who have quoted us as one of their musical influences. It feels very similar to when we played in Brazil where SEPULTURA was on the bill and that turned out to be one our most memorable shows."

EXUMER is currently working on material for its third full-length album for a tentative late 2009 release. The band is also negotiating with labels for what will be EXUMER's first release in over 22 years.
