EXODUS Thrash Classics 'Impact Is Imminent'And 'Force Of Habit' Back In Print

February 28, 2008

Caroline Records has set a March 11 release date for two classic remastered EXODUS albums — "Impact Is Imminent" (originally released in 1990) and "Force Of Habit" (originally released in 1992) — as limited-edition Japanese-style mini-vinyl CDs, offering a scaled down replica of the original vinyl release in CD format, complete with inner sleeves! Both albums will be available digitally as well. "Force Of Habit" includes two bonus tracks: "Crawl Before You Walk" and "Telepathetic".

Arguably the first American thrash band (METALLICA's Kirk Hammett was a founding member),EXODUS came from the San Francisco Bay Area scene that spawned DEATH ANGEL, TESTAMENT and VIO-LENCE. EXODUS jumped from Combat Records to Capitol in the early '90s, supporting these releases on tours with PANTERA, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, ANTHRAX, MOTÖRHEAD and BLACK SABBATH. Both albums have been out of print for over ten years and command high prices on the secondary market.

The band has just completed a U.S. tour and will start European dates in London on April 8.
