EXODUS Frontman Among Judges At Today's 'Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock' Tournament

EXODUS frontman Rob Dukes is one of the guest judges at the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock tournament being held today (Thursday, May 1) at the Samsung Experience, located in the Time Warner Center in New York City.

Guitar Hero "rock stars" will have the opportunity to participate in a "Skills" or "Style" competition featuring the immensely popular Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The game will be played on Xbox 360 consoles and Samsung's top-of-the-line HDTVs.

The "Skills" tournament will consist of 64 Guitar Hero "experts" facing off in a spirited competition to determine New York City's Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock champion. The winner will receive a Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Crown (Legendary Skill),a custom Gibson Les Paul guitar, signed by COHEED AND CAMBRIA and a Samsung P2 Widescreen Portable Media Player which allows users to watch video and listen to music. The runner-up will receive the thin-yet-powerful Samsung K3 digital audio player.

Contestants can also sign up to participate in the "Style" tournament, where they will be asked to dress up like true rock legends and perform a song before three judges. The contestants will be judged less on skill and more on creative style. The judges will be focused on each contestant's appearance, presentation and crowd appeal. Each contestant will be scored on a scale of one to 10, with the highest scoring contestants competing against each other in the final round. The winner will receive a Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Crown (Legendary Style),a Gibson Les Paul guitar with a custom paint job and a Samsung P2 Widescreen Portable Media Player, which allows used to watch video and listen to music. The runner-up will receive the thin yet powerful Samsung K3 digital audio player.
