Ex-SUM 41 Guitarist's BROWN BRIGADE Signs With AQUARIUS RECORDS

November 2, 2006

BROWN BRIGADE, the new metal band featuring ex-SUM 41 guitarist Dave "Brownsound" Baksh and his cousin Vaughn Lal (bass),has inked a deal with Aquarius Records. The group is currently "finishing up lyrics and practicing for the studio," according to a posting on its web site. "The album should be out sometime in 2007 and we're hoping we can get back out on tour around the summer. Whether or not the album will be out we can't say, but we'll keep you posted. Also look for a full-blown Brown-Brigade.com to coincide with the release of the album. The website will contain bonus material, experiments, links to musicians we support, The Brown Knight and more."

BROWN BRIGADE's recent touring lineup included Craig "The Craigulator" Pattison (guitar),Johnny "No-Triggers" Owens (drums),Ienni-Mon (back-up percussion) and Cess Rock (vocals). The band completed a Canadian tour last month with PENNYWISE and CIRCLE JERKS.
