Ex-SCORPIONS Drummer Recording HERMAN ZE GERMAN Debut

Former SCORPIONS drummer Herman Rarebell has finished laying down his drum tracks for the new HERMAN ZE GERMAN album with producer/guitarist Duke Jackson at 420 Studios in Collinsville, Illinois. The CD will be mastered in Munich, Germany at Plectron Studios. Songtitles set to appear on the as-yet-untitled effort include "Fast As Lightning" and "Don't Lose Your Trust".

HERMAN ZE GERMAN's current lineup is as follows:

Herman Rarebell (SCORPIONS) - Drums
Duke Jackson (STRIKEFORCE) - Guitar
Timexx Nasty (DRIVIN' RAIN, BEGGARS JURY) - Vocals
Joe Council (STRIKEFORCE, PUSH) – Bass

SCORPIONS headlined the Scorpions Festival 2009 on July 6 Karaiskaki stadium in Athens, Greece. This year's edition of the event included a so-called SCORPIONS "reunion," featuring appearances by various former members of the band, including Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker and Rarebell.
