Ex-SCORPIONS Drummer Recording HERMAN ZE GERMAN Debut

Former SCORPIONS drummer Herman Rarebell has finished laying down his drum tracks for the new HERMAN ZE GERMAN album with producer/guitarist Duke Jackson at 420 Studios in Collinsville, Illinois. The CD will be mastered in Munich, Germany at Plectron Studios. Songtitles set to appear on the as-yet-untitled effort include "Fast As Lightning" and "Don't Lose Your Trust".

HERMAN ZE GERMAN's current lineup is as follows:

Herman Rarebell (SCORPIONS) - Drums
Duke Jackson (STRIKEFORCE) - Guitar
Timexx Nasty (DRIVIN' RAIN, BEGGARS JURY) - Vocals
Joe Council (STRIKEFORCE, PUSH) – Bass

Louie Benson of Southeast Missourian newspaper's "SE Live" conducted an interview with Herman Rarebell on July 17 at the Mississippi Mud House in Cape Girardeau, Missouri (where Herman was performing with HERMAN ZE GERMAN). SCORPIONS headlined the Scorpions Festival 2009 on July 6 Karaiskaki stadium in Athens, Greece. This year's edition of the event included a so-called SCORPIONS "reunion," featuring appearances by various former members of the band, including Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker and Rarebell.
