June 13, 2010

OHM:/ex-MEGADETH guitarist Chris Poland took part in a free in-store performance/clinic on April 24 at House Of Guitars in Rochester, New York. For the performance, Poland was reunited for the first time in over 30 years with drummer Mike Meaney and bassist Moon McGeoch from Poland's former band WELKIN. According to a press release, "What is amazing is these guys only rehearsed for a couple hours before the show, which was literally the first time they played together in over 30-plus years!"

As a teen, Poland cut his teeth with WELKIN, a power trio out of Cambridge, New York.
