Ex-MEGADETH Guitarist CHRIS POLAND Interviewed On 'The Red Switch'

OHM:/ex-MEGADETH guitarist Chris Poland was recently interviewed by "The Red Switch" show, which airs on York University's CHRY 105.5 FM radio station in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can now listen to the chat below.

Poland is currently a member of the jazz fusion band OHM:, also featuring Kofi Baker on drums and Robertino Pagliari on bass. They released their self-titled debut album in 2003, followed by "Amino Acid Flashback" in 2005 and "Circus of Sound" in 2008. The band also issued a live album in 2004, and a DVD, "Live at the New Brookland Tavern", in 2006.

In 2003, Poland laid down a guest guitar solo on the track "Purified" from the LAMB OF GOD record "As The Palaces Burn". The following year, he contributed to LAMB OF GOD's "Ashes of the Wake" CD by playing a guitar solo on the LP's instrumental title track.

In 2009, Poland formed OHMPHREY, a side-project with Robby Pagliari of OHM:, and Jake Cinninger, Kris Myers and Joel Cummins of progressive rock band UMPHREY'S MCGEE. OHMPHREY released its self-titled debut album in May 2009 via Magna Carta Records.
