Ex-GUNS N' ROSES Drummer, TOMMY LEE Bassist Guest On PRE)THING Single

August 1, 2003

Former GUNS N' ROSES/current VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum and TOMMY LEE/ex-KILGORE bassist Marty O'Brien are featured on two songs from the forthcoming PRE)THING album, titled "22nd Century Lifestyle Episode: RUSTAND THESUPERHEROES SEXDRUGS AND SOUTHERN CITYROCK". Sorum and O'Brien appear on the first single "Faded Love" (Real Player, Windows Media) as well as the album cut "Stay Alive" (Windows Media).

The Hollywood-based band, formerly known as RUSTANDTHESUPERHEROES, are being described as "a power trio in the every-player-is-a-badass tradition of CREAM, THE POLICE, and RUSH — but they don't sound like an every-player-is-a-badass, old-fashioned rock band." A late 2003 release through V2 Records is expected.
