ASESINO — the death metal/grindcore project featuring Cazares and STATIC-X bassist Tony Campos (on bass/vocals) — released its new album, "Cristo Satanico" ("Satanic Christ"), in July via Hawino Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Coridos De Muerte" was recorded at Undercity Studios in Los Angeles and contains "15 songs of filthy perversion, satanism, molestation, rape, sodomy, murder, death, oh, and of course, love," according to a press release. The first single, "Regresando Odio" ("Returning the Hate"), features HATEBREED's Jamey Jasta as El Odio on backing vocals and Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA) on lead guitar.
