EVOCATION Films 'Psychosis Warfare' Video

December 19, 2010

Swedish death metallers EVOCATION recently filmed a video for the song "Psychosis Warfare" with director Xaay (who is also the band's artwork artist) and his girlfriend Iwona in different locations around the group's hometown of Borås. The group states, "Xaay and Iwona really have managed to capture the emotions and feelings connected with the track and the album." The clip will make its online debut sometime in January.

In other news, EVOCATION has uploaded video footage of the band's appearance at last year's Summer Breeze festival, which took place August 13-15, 2009 in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. The group says, "The video was shot by Roax Films with a crew of nine cameras and professional sound in front of an amazing live audience. The whole show is available on the limited-edition version of the new EVOCATION album, 'Apocalyptic'."

EVOCATION recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with Edition Wolffackel/Warner Chappell (IMMORTAL, PRIMORDIAL, THE HAUNTED, UNLEASHED, etc.).

EVOCATION's third album, "Apocalyptic", was released on October 29 via Cyclone Empire Records. The cover artwork (see below) was created by Xaay (BEHEMOTH, NILE, VADER) and it "fit[s] both the title, 'Apocalyptic', and our musical achievements just perfect," says the band. "We are blown away by the effort and feeling [Xaay] gave it."

EVOCATION's second album, "Dead Calm Chaos", was released on October 31, 2008 via Cyclone Empire. The CD featured guest appearances by Anders Björler (AT THE GATES, THE HAUNTED) and Swedish producer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö (BLOODBATH, EDGE OF SANITY).

EVOCATION is:

Thomas Josefsson – Vocals
Janne K. Bodén – Drums
Vesa Kenttäkumpu – Guitar
Marko Palmén – Guitar
Martin Toresson – Bass
