EVANESCENCE Engages With Core Fans On Mobile Backstage

Grammy Award-winning rock band EVANESCENCE has come back after hiatus with a new album, a tour and their very own interactive fan club for true fans. This new community, accessible from a range of different devices, will create a real and tangible link between the band and their fans.

"Our fans are absolutely wonderful! It's so great to have their support and see them grow with us," said EVANESCENCE co-founder and lead singer Amy Lee. "And it's really important for us to stay in touch with them and to hear what they think. This is why we decided to create this interactive fan club for our most loyal fans where they will be able to connect with us and each other."

"We're very excited to have EVANESCENCE join our multiplatform service," said Paavo B├Ąckman, CEO of Mobile Backstage. "With us, the band will be able to build their community, increase fan loyalty and really listen and respond to fans' needs and wishes. Unlike many other social media services, we offer a 100% artist -community for the true fans."

With Mobile Backstage, EVANESCENCE and their fans can exchange news, pictures, videos, audio clips and messages in an intimate and personal environment, far from the noise and clutter of other social media. Fans can send messages to other fans, find and check into gigs, see the location of other fans and their online posts, play music, and purchase tracks and tickets. Active fans are rewarded with shout-outs from the band and encouraged to share their own fan experience, opinions and thoughts.
