EUROPE: 'Got To Have Faith' Video To Premiere On Swedish TV

August 26, 2004

EUROPE's video for their new single, "Got to Have Faith", will be premiered on the "Morgon" show on Swedish television TV4 on Friday, August 27. A scene in the clip reportedly features a high-speed motorcycle ride (over 230 km/hour on the speedometer) performed by one of the bandmembers.

"Got to Have Faith" is the first single off the reunited Swedish hard rockers' much-anticipated new studio album, "Start From the Dark", due in Europe on September 27 through Epic Records. The group's first collection of new material since 1991's "Prisoners In Paradise" was produced by Kevin Elson (who had previously worked with EUROPE on their multi-platinum 1986 release, "Final Countdown") and is said to feature a "heavier" direction, in the vein of the group's earlier albums. The Japanese version of the album, due on September 22, will include live versions of "Seven Doors Hotel" and "Wings Of Tomorrow", recorded during the band's headlining appearance at this year's Sweden Rock festival in early June. A live version of the album's title track, recorded at Sweden Rock, can be downloaded at this location (9.12 MB).
