ERIC SINGER Reports On ROCK 'N' ROLL FANTASY CAMP Battle Of The Bands; Photos Available

February 20, 2007

Drummer Eric Singer (KISS, ALICE COOPER) has posted the following message on his official web site:

"Last night [Feb. 19] I was asked to be a judge for the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp held in Los Angeles at the House of Blues. This was my first time attending such an event. Bruce Kulick (KISS, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD) and Teddy Zig Zag (GUNS N' ROSES, ALICE COOPER) were camp counselors and have told me about how much fun these camps were and how much work they were as well...

"This year the special guests along with Bruce and Teddy were Paul Stanley (no introduction needed),Clem Burke (BLONDIE),Simon Kirk (FREE, BAD COMPANY),Spike Edney (BRIAN MAY BAND, QUEEN),Kelly Keagy (NIGHT RANGER),Jane Wiedlin (THE GO GO'S),Sandy Genero (PAT TRAVERS, THE MONKEES) Mark Slaughter (SLAUGHTER) and I am sure others I can't think of now...

"Anyways, the 13 bands of campers each played two songs which one of them was a KISS song sang or accompanied by 'The Voice' of KISS, Paul Stanley.

"All the campers had such a good time by the look on their faces. And special props to Paul for being a trooper and singing full tilt all night long! I am sure the campers must have been beside themselves to share the stage with Paul and all the talented counselors.

"All in all it was a fun night and cool to see some familiar faces (Carmine Appice) and get to watch so many peoples dreams become a reality."
