ERA FOR A MOMENT Prepares To Release 'When Earth Meets Sky'

April 30, 2009

Boston-based female-fronted hard rock band ERA FOR A MOMENT will make its sophomore album, "When Earth Meets Sky", available on Friday May 1 via a CD-release show at Oliver's Nightclub, inside the legendary Cask n' Flagon in Boston. The album will be available at retail on May 5 and can be purchased through CDBaby.com as well as Newbury Comics in the New England area.

This unsigned band's new effort comes a few years after their debut CD, "Realize", because of personnel shuffles and management changes which caused a delay in recording and production.

"Realize" became widely popular in the Northeast and as far out as the Midwest, eventully helping to land the band an opening slot with for BON JOVI at the TD BankNorth Garden in Boston after winning an XM Radio contest. EFAM then became one of four groups, nationally, to compete for the opening slot of BON JOVI's final stop on their tour, Giants Stadium. Since then, the band has won national acclaim for best unsigned female-fronted act by underground/unsigned radio shows and has recently become the first to be endorsed as a band by Lightwave Guitar Systems, which the band used on their new CD. Lightwave Guitar has also centered their ad campaign around the band, beginning with the July issue of Guitar World magazine, which also hits shelves on May 5.
