EMPEROR Announce Oslo Signing Session

April 1, 2006

Norwegian black metal legends EMPEROR will be holding a signing session on Saturday, April 15 between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Bodymap in Oslo, Norway. The in-store appearance will take place on day after the band's performance at the Inferno Festival, which is scheduled to take place April 13-15 at the Rockefeller Music Hall and John Dee venues in Oslo.

For more information, visit www.infernofestival.net.

As previously reported, EMPEROR reunited after four years to play a surprise three-song set at Scream's 15-year anniversary party at Oslo, Norway's Rockefeller on Sept. 30, 2005. The illustrious black metal band, whose split in 2001 took the scene by surprise, performed three tracks — "The Loss And Curse Of Reverence", "I Am The Black Wizards", "Inno A Satana" — and received a rapturous welcome by an ecstatic crowd. Check out photos of the performance at this location (all photos were taken by EMPEROR guitarist Samoth's wife Erin).

EMPEROR will be playing four dates in the U.S. (two in New York, two in Los Angeles) in July in addition to their already confirmed appearances at the Inferno and Wacken Open Air (Wacken, Germany) festivals.
