ELDRITCH: New Song Available For Download

A brand-new track from Italian progressive-aggressive metal band ELDRITCH, entitled "Save Me", has been made available for download at this location (MP3, 3.5 MB). The song comes off the group's sixth album, "Neighbourhell", due on February 24, 2006 via Diversity-Media/SPV. The recordings for the follow-up to 2004's "Portrait of the Abyss Within" were done between April and June in three different studios (Syncropain, Bigwave and Eldritch studios),while the mastering was handled by Christian Schmid and R.D. Liapakis at Music Factory in Germany. The artwork is being conceived by Dirk Illing for X-M-D. The group recently shot a video for "Save Me", which will be included on the digipack limited edition version of the album.

As previously reported, ELDRITCH have been confirmed for Chicago Powerfest 2006. The fourth annual metal fest featuring both veteran and up-and-coming bands from various sub-genres of metal will take place on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at Mr. Kelley's Music Box in Chicago Heights, IL. Also scheduled to appear at the festival are BIOMECHANICAL, ION VEIN, TWELFTH GATE, GRACEPOINT, MIRROR BLACK and WITHERING SOUL. The remaining three bands, which include one headliner and one direct support, will be annouced in the upcoming weeks once confirmed.
