Egypt's SCARAB, Germany's HATRED To Perform At WITH FULL FORCE, DESERT ROCK Festivals

The organizers of the Desert Rock and With Full Force festivals have announced their respective winners of the "United We Rock" online battle-of-the-bands contest. Egypt's SCARAB and Germany's HATRED (Germany) will open both events in 2009, starting with Desert Rock festival on March 6, followed by With Full Force, which will be held July 3-5.

With Full Force is a three-day, annual metal event held in Leipzig, Germany which last year celebrated its 15th anniverary with over 70 bands, headlined by IN FLAMES, MACHINE HEAD, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE.

Desert Rock, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has showcased metal and rock bands such as IRON MAIDEN, KORN, MACHINE HEAD, IN FLAMES and VELVET REVOLVER and so on. This year's event will feature additional performances by ARCH ENEMY, OPETH, CHIMAIRA, AUGUST BURNS RED and NERVECELL.
