EDGUY: UK Dates Announced

December 2, 2008

German melodic metallers EDGUY have announced two UK shows in January:

Jan. 09 - Dudley, UK - JBs
Jan. 10 - London, UK - Carling Academy Islington

Frontman Tobias Sammet commented: "It's always a great feeling to tour England. England is not known for its appreciation of ridiculous Eunuch-fronted European metal, but if you don’t take yourself too seriously, have a good sense of humor and scarf-skin on your palate, England is the fucking place to be. Seriously, I love that country, I love castles, IRON MAIDEN, 'Monty Python's Flying Circus', Robin Hood and British humor. And I am looking forward to set the clubs on fire and finally prove to the Brits — and even if only a few — that we are maybe the best, definitely the most entertaining band in the world! London and Dudley: Beware, the Krauts are coming!!!"

"Tinnitus Sanctus", the new album from EDGUY, has registered the following first-week chart positions:

Germany: #19
Austria: #50

The digipack version of "Tinnitus Sanctus" includes a bonus CD entitled "Live In Los Angeles".

"Ministry Of Saints", the new video from EDGUY, can be viewed below. The clip was shot in Belgrade, Serbia. The CD, which will be issued in North America in early 2009, was recorded at Gate Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany with producer Sascha Paeth.
