DURST Relationship Was Figment Of FRED's Imagination: BRITNEY SPEARS

When Britney Spearsco-hosted the first-ever "TRL Awards" on MTV yesterday (Feb. 17),Carson Daly quizzed her about rumors she was dating LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst. Britney called him "really sweet" but said she didn't know him that well and there's no relationship.

"I'm confused by that whole thing," Spears explained. "I don't know [what the deal is with him alluding to a possible relationship]. You need to ask him. The thing is we worked together for like three days and he's a really cool guy but there's no relationship. I'm confused about it. I don't really know him that well. He's really sweet but there's no relationship. He's not my type. Sorry."
