Drummer SNOWY SHAW To Contribute To HAMMERFALL Singer's New Solo Album

August 14, 2005

Swedish drummer/songwriter Snowy Shaw (DREAM EVIL, KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE, MEMENTO MORI, NOTRE DAME) has posted the following message on his official web site:

"The first official show featuring the new DREAM EVIL line-up will take place at Sweden Rock's 34.000 Ton Metal on the 30th of September.

"Currently lots of plans and preparations are being made for the stageshow before rehearsals begin in September.

"NOTRE DAME's long awaited live epos, 'Creepshow Freakshow Peepshow', is finally available in a 999 limited digipack edition here on this site and here only! Hurry up and get a copy of this exclusive, notorious live album!!!

"Snowy will be involved on the second solo album of HAMMERFALL's Joacim Cans later this year. Snowy will contribute both as drummer, second lead singer and songwriter.

"Snowy is designing new DREAM EVIL merchandise, a complete makeover of the website and new band photos.

"Snowy and Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company are planning and preparing an exciting new project together, read more about this later..."

DREAM EVIL recently parted ways with vocalist Niklas Isfeldt and bassist Peter Stålfors due to "personal issues" and Niklas' "recurring health problems." Replacing them in the band's lineup are singer Jake E Berg and bassist Tommy Larsson (ex-JAGGERNAUT, CHASTISEMENT).

DREAM EVIL's latest CD, "The Book Of Heavy Metal", was released last year through Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Evilized", "The Book Of Heavy Metal" was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden and features special guest appearances by ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN keyboardist Mats Olausson (on the songs "Into The Moonlight", "Crusaders' Anthem", "Chosen Twice" and "Unbreakable Chain") and HALFORD/PAINMUSEUM guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak.
