According to a posting on the IRON MAIDEN fan site MaidenFans.com, French drum magazine Batterie recently published an interview with MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain in issue #14, dated May 2005. In the interview, Nicko revealed the following information:

* The next IRON MAIDEN album will be a concept album along the lines of "Seventh Son of the Seventh Son"

* Nicko has an instructional drum DVD in the works; no release date has yet been given for this project

* MAIDEN track "Prodigal Son" will be rehearsed prior to the summer tour and if it sounds good enough, it may be included in the group's setlist. (Note that at the time of the interview no rehearsal sessions had yet taken place).

* MAIDEN's plans for the upcoming studio album are to begin writing in November 2005 and to start the recording process in January 2006
