DREAM THEATER Singer's TRUE SYMPHONIC ROCKESTRA Project: Video Interview Available

September 17, 2006

TRUE SYMPHONIC ROCKESTRA, the international opera-oriented project featuring contributions from DREAM THEATER frontman James LaBrie, has posted a video interview with LaBrie, producer/mastermind Dirk Ulrich and opera tenor Thomas Dewald at the project's official web site.

When the TRUE SYMPHONIC ROCKESTRA concept was started back in 2000, the basic idea behind it was to get three world-class singers to perform the "best of" repertoire of the original 3 TENORS (Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, José Carreras) ... in ROCK versions!

The forthcoming TSR release (due in early 2007) now features LaBrie and the two world-famous classical tenors Thomas Dewald and Vladimir Grishko as "THE 3 ROCK TENORS."

Although mixing classical and rock music has already been done before in the past, the people behind this new recording believe that the TSR project "is a new and unique combination of these two forces and probably the first time ever to feature two world-class classical tenors and one of the most respected voices in rock on one entire album!"
