German metal queen Doro Pesch recently announced the release of the "official" Christmas anthem for all metalheads.
"I had a feeling the time was right to record a song for Christmas," says Doro. "I am recording my new album right now, which should be out by next summer. While doing this, I suddenly came up with a fitting melody and lyrics."
Entitled "Merry Metal X-Mas", the track is performed by Doro and features a guest appearance by bassist/vocalist Thomas "Angelripper" Such of German thrash metal veterans SODOM.
"I definitely wanted something loud and funny," Doro explains.
