DOL AMMAD: 'Star Tales' In The Mastering Stage

December 25, 2003

Greek "electronic art metal" act DOL AMMAD have posted the following message on their official web site:

"The much-awaited DOL AMMAD debut album is currently under the mastering stage. The mixing stage is complete and the sound quality is excellent. Alex Holzwarth's [RHAPSODY] huge drumming helped a lot in that field! There has also been a new addition in DOL AMMAD's Europa Choir which is now featuring 6 men and 6 women making DOL AMMAD a band of 16 musicians! The debut album's official title will be 'Star Tales' and will feature 12 splendorous tracks of space-fantasy-electronica-art-metal! The album will last approximately 60 minutes. Each track will feature a different imaginary space tale powered both by DOL AMMAD's unique sound and each listener's imagination. DOL AMMAD have already chosen the appropriate artwork for the album which will feature different art for each tale! Concerning the matter that many of you ask, no, DOL AMMAD have not yet signed to a record label since they are looking for the best possible offer. You can rest assured though that 'Star Tales' will be globally released hopefully early in 2004."

As previously reported, the recordings for "Star Tales" took place in August at Sascha Paeth's Gate Studios (RHAPSODY, ANGRA, KAMELOT, HEAVEN'S GATE) in Wolfsburg, Germany.

DOL AMMAD have posted MP3 clips of five tracks from their 2002 demo at their official web site. Check them out here.

The songs available for download are as follows:

01. Eclipse (Corona Of The Sun)
02. The Veil (Seven Face Danger)
03. Vortex 3003
04. Boxed Daylight
05. The Hill Of Hope
