DOKKEN/TED NUGENT Bassist Checks In From The Road

July 31, 2006

Bassist Barry Sparks (DOKKEN, TED NUGENT) has issued the following update:

"The last few months are just a blur! Where have I been? I have no idea? Oh, yes, I do remember something about a European TED NUGENT tour. Yes! We went to Europe and absolutely killed! Also went to Greece and all over Mexico with DOKKEN somewhere in between all of this. I am now on tour in the U.S.A with TED NUGENT. Things are good. The shows of course are going amazingly well, as they always do with Ted — anything Ted does pretty much works like a fine-tuned machine! Unfortunately I was sick as a dog the last few weeks. After going to the emergency room three times, I figured out I had bronchitis. I couldn't breathe half the time and it sucked all out all of my energy. I want to apologize to Louisville, horrible night for me, it was enough to just stand up and play, so I didn't really put on much of a show that night, but I didn't fall down either! That's good. I feel much better now and can say the last few shows have been very good!

"I have some BARRY SPARKS BAND shows coming up in Septeber as well some DOKKEN shows in Mexico!"
