DOHENY Seek Drummer, Bassist

June 17, 2003

DOHENY, the new group formed by ex-THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar) and PITCHSHIFTER frontman Jon "J.S." Clayden, have spent the past few weeks at a Los Angeles studio auditioning potential drummers and bass players to complete the group's live lineup. "Word is out among our friends and there has been an overwhelming response," Morrison writes on the band's official web site. "[New guitarist] Sean Kipe has been doing well throughout it all and both Jon and I are happy with his progress. We'll let you know the rest of the band line up when we have it 100% locked in. I can tell you that the tunes sound awesome in the rehearsal room so far and I am very excited about bringing this band out to you all live. It's been a hectic but fun few weeks. We'll let you know the news as soon as we can. This an exciting time for DOHENY. It's all coming together."
