DOHENY Added To SOULSHINE MUSIC FESTIVAL, Return To Recording Studio

July 27, 2004

DOHENY, the California-based band formed by ex-THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar) and former PITCHSHIFTER frontman Jon "J.S." Clayden, have been added to the bill of the Soulshine Music Festival in Malibu, California on Sunday, August 8. The festival, which begins at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. (and also features WHITESTARR) will be DOHENY's first venture outside of Los Angeles.

DOHENY recently returned to producer Scott Humphrey's (ROB ZOMBIE, POWERMAN 5000, TOMMY LEE) Chop Shop studio in the Hollywood Hills to record two more tracks, "Drive Me" and "Evergreen".

Commented J.S.: " 'California' turned out so well that we just had to go back into the studio with Scott and lay down some more tunes. It's been a great working relationship with Scott and DOHENY, we're all really happy with the end result and looking forward to moving onward."

The band, who are currently unsigned, are rounded out by rhythm guitarist Sean Kipe, bassist Tony Freddo and drummer Colin LaRocque.
