DOHENY Add Drummer

August 6, 2003

DOHENY, the Los Angeles-based band formed by ex-THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar) and PITCHSHIFTER frontman Jon "J.S." Clayden, have announced the addition of drummer Colin LaRocque to the group's ranks. Colin, a native of Toronto, Canada, has been an L.A. resident for awhile and has been drumming for many years.

Says Sean Kipe, DOHENY's rhythm guitarist: "Although it's sad to have to tell the other guys they didn't get the gig, it was clear to all of us that Colin was the best drummer at the auditions. He just came in there and played the hell out of the kit and added a great vibe and energy to the set. All of us are totally excited by his addition to DOHENY and can't wait to take DOHENY to the next level."
