DIVERCIA Set Release Date For New Album

August 19, 2004

Finnish melodic heavy rockers DIVERCIA have completed work on their second album, "Cycle of Zero", due on September 20 through Holland's Karmageddon Media.

"Cycle of Zero" was recorded and mixed at Sonic Pump and D studios in Finland and was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox. Cover artwork was once again created by Kristian Jokela.

Commented the band: "Now when all the recordings are done, we are pleased to express our contentment to the final result of our new album 'Cycle of Zero'. 'Cycle of Zero' reflects the real sensation of our minds after all the changes happened in the period after the release of our debut album 'Modus Operandi'. The new album sounds way more aggressive & powerful compared to our debut and it features some furious and powerful guitar-riffs with both harsh and clean vocals. Blast beats are in good use within selected songs and the overall mood reflects the sorrowful sights of our home-country Finland. Furthermore we can announce Teemu Laitinen (known from THY SERPENT & THRONE OF CHAOS) as our new drummer. Teemu already plays drums on the new album and we are very happy to have such a skilful and experienced drummer behind the drumkit now."
