DISTORMENT Calls It Quits

Bulgarian metallers DISTORMENT have decided to disband following the departure of guitarist Bobi. However, the group will play a string of shows in late April/early May prior to going separate ways: April 21 in Plovdiv, May 4 in Varna, May 5 in Burgas and on May 6 in Sofia. "We will also record and then put for free download our last song, titled '21 Salutes!' says vocalist Stefan. "It should be ready by mid-April. We decided to do so because the song was ready and written anyway. And maybe because at least I feel obliged to all the people who put a lot of hope in us as a band."

DISTORMENT's last release was the "Burning Bridges" EP, which came out last year.
