DISAVOWED Announces New Drummer

Dutch brutal death metallers DISAVOWED have announced the addition of drummer Morten Løwe Sørenson (SUBMISSION, THE ARCANE ORDER, INSTANT CARNAGE, SCARVE, THE CLEANSING) to the group's ranks.

Commented the band: "We just had our first rehearsal and things worked out excellent! If everything goes as expected, we will start performing live from August onwards. New songs are also in the pipeline."

DISAVOWED has been confirmed for the ninth edition of Switzerland's most extreme metal festival, Mountains Of Death, set to take place August 21-22, 2009 in Muotathal, Switzerland.

The band's latest album, "Stagnated Existence", was released in 2007 via Neurotic Records. The follow-up to the band's 2001 debut, "Perceptive Deception", was recorded at Studio Excess in Rotterdam, Holland and includes such songtitles as "Dogmatic Conceit" and "The Veils of Misconception".
