DIRTY RIG last month went into the studio to record several songs for the group's upcoming album. "We have 13 new tracks recorded for this puppy so far," the group's bassist Buckshot wrote on the band's MySpace page. "We are very excited about them too. There are some barn-burners, some mid-tempo shit and even more barn-burners. Our motto is 'If you can't hump to our songs then they aint our songs!' These songs will sure make you drink, have sex and drink some more!!!"

DIRTY RIG's debut Escapi Music release, entitled "Rock Did It", came out last June. The band also filmed a video for the song "Dogs" with director David Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, GOD FORBID) of My Good Eye.
