DIRGE WITHIN: New Teaser Clip Posted Online

March 5, 2013

Chicago metallers DIRGE WITHIN, who last November announced Travis Neal (DIVINE HERESY) as their new lead singer following the departure of Jeremy "Jerms" Genske, have issued the following update:

"We have been pretty much buckled down writing and in and out of the studio working our asses off on new music and although it's early in the game, we wanted to share a taste of something fresh and metal for ya all."

Check out the 30-second clip below.

A re-recording of the DIRGE WITHIN song "Without You" featuring Travis Neal can be streamed in the SoundCloud player below. The band states: "We picked the track 'Without You' so all can hear a good balance of what we do in every area, from the heavy grooves to the soaring melodies, and, of course, our new vocalist, Travis Neal, really shows such in all these areas. We also thought what would be the best way to let all have this as we agreed to give this track away as we just want as many people to enjoy this track."

DIRGE WITHIN's sophomore album, "There Will Be Blood", was released on April 10, 2012 via Rocket Science Ventures/THC: Music. The CD was recorded at Mercenary Studios in Zion, Illinois with engineer Scott Creekmore and producer Ari Mihalopoulos and was mixed at Inner Light Studios with Ari and DIRGE WITHIN guitarist Shaun Glass.
