U.K.'s Absolute Radio conducted an interview with legendary heavy metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio (HEAVEN & HELL, BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW, DIO) when HEAVEN & HELL played the Sonisphere festival on August 1, 2009 at the legendary Knebworth Park, United Kingdom. Watch the 10-minute chat below.

HEAVEN & HELL — the band featuring BLACK SABBATH members Dio, Tony Iommi (guitar),Geezer Butler (bass) and Vinny Appice (drums) — kicked off its North American tour last Friday night (August 7) at UBC Thunderbird Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

COHEED AND CAMBRIA is providing support for HEAVEN & HELL on all U.S. shows except the August 8 Seattle date, which featured NEUROSIS in the supporting slot.

"The Devil You Know", the new album from HEAVEN & HELL, has sold around 70,000 copies since its April 28 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It debuted at position No. 8 on The Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of 30,000 units.
