DIECAST To Release New Album In October

August 18, 2004

Boston-based quintet DIECAST will release their sophomore full-length album, "Tearing Down Your Blue Skies", in Europe on October 25 through Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Day Of Reckoning" (Now or Never) "shows the group's progression as musicians and songwriters, while the addition of new vocalist Paul Stoddard adds a whole new feel to the band's dynamic sound," according to an official press release.

Commented bassist Jeremy Wooden: "I guess the first thing to say is that we're back and better than ever. We have spent almost two years on this material, making sure that every song was as strong and interesting as the next. Our new singer has allowed us to try things that we could never have imagined in the past. We tried to make each song have a different feel and have written some of our heaviest material and also some of our most melodic."

Free MP3 downloads of the new songs "Fire Damage" and "Pendulum" are available at www.bhcdiecast.com.
