DIABOLIC INTENT: U.S. Dates Announced

Florida extreme metal three-piece DIABOLIC INTENT will embark on a tour of the lower U.S. in July 2007. Also appearing on the bill will be MINION (U.K.), SERVING THE OATH, AILAMENT and FROM THE ASHES. Tentative dates are as follows:

Jul. 09 - Tampa, Florida
Jul. 10 – St. Augustine, Florida
Jul. 12 - Jackson, Mississippi
Jul. 14 - Baton Rouge, Louisiana (w/ CATHOLICON)
Jul. 15 - Corpus Christi, Texas
Jul. 16 - Houston, Texas (w/ CATHOLICON)
Jul. 17 - Austin, Texas (w/ CATHOLICON)
Jul. 18 - New Orleans, Louisiana
Jul. 19 - Tallahassee, Florida
Jul. 20 - Jacksonville, Florida
Jul. 21 - Gainesville, Florida

More dates covering the west and north are in the works for August and June.

DIABOLIC INTENT is currently shopping its recently completed third album, "The Cold Path of Man", interested U.S. labels. The CD is expected to be issued in Europe this fall.

DIABOLIC INTENT recorded "The Cold Path of Man" earlier in the year at Dark Angel Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa. The CD is said to be "uninfluenced by American mixing and recording techniques" and "offers a new diverse sound for extreme metal," according to a press release.

"The Cold Path of Man" was recorded, produced and engineered by Ankha and Leanne Warren of Dark Angel Project and DIABOLIC INTENT. A full-length audio file containing the track "...In God We Trust?" can be downloaded at this location.
