DEVOLVED To 'Set New Standards' With Forthcoming CD

February 11, 2004

Australia's tech-metal masters DEVOLVED are currently in the studio recording the follow-up to 2002's "Technologies". The album will contain 13 songs, two of which will be bonus tracks available on different formats of the CD worldwide. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Biotics", "Vex" and "Hybrid".

Commented drummer John Sankey: "The new DEVOLVED album is easily one of the most erratic, intense and insanely heavy albums people will ever hear. We have always aimed to set new standards with DEVOLVED and that is exactly what this new CD will do! This is the album that will destroy all these try-hard, trend-metal bands that have overrun the music scene for far too long. Personally, I am so sick of all the second-rate bands floating around trying to make out they are something they definitely are not. This CD will put them in there place once and for all! Be prepared for extreme chaos."
