DEVILDRIVER Salutes BLACK FLAG At REVOLVER GOLDEN GODS AWARDS (Video)

Video footage of DEVILDRIVER paying tribute to BLACK FLAG during the band's short performance at the third annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which took place this past Wednesday night (April 20) at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles, California, can be viewed below. Joining DEVILDRIVER on stage for the BLACK FLAG salute were special guests Max Cavalera (SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, SEPULTURA), Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED, KINGDOM OF SORROW) and skateboarder Mike Vallely.

Highlights from the Revolver Golden Gods Awards will be broadcast on VH1 Classic on Saturday, May 28. Revolver will release a special Golden Gods issue of the magazine on May 24. The Golden Gods issue will include exclusive behind-the-scenes photos and interviews.

Bassist Jonathan Miller quit DEVILDRIVER last month, calling it "the most difficult decision of my life" but "something that I needed to do for myself."

Filling in for Miller on the road with DEVILDRIVER for the past few months has been the band's tour manager, Bubble (a.k.a. Aaron Patrick), who has previously played with BURY YOUR DEAD.

"Beast", the fifth album from DEVILDRIVER, sold a little over 11,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 42 on The Billboard 200 chart.
