DEVILDRIVER Members To Play One-Off BELTFED Show

March 4, 2007

BELTFED, the death/grind collaboration between members of DEVILDRIVER (Jon Miller, Jeff Kendrick and John Boecklin) and PRESSURE 4-5 (Joe Schmidt),will play a one-off show on Friday, March 16 at club Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara, California. According to a press release, "the band currently does not have a singer but the sheer intensity of the show (including fire-breathing and free shots for the entire audience) makes up for it. These guys are sick."

DEVILDRIVER recently wrapped up the recording sessions for its third album, "The Last Kind Words", at Sonic Ranch studios outside El Paso, Texas. Jason Suecof, known for his great work with TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA, GOD FORBID, and BURY YOUR DEAD, produced the album, with engineer Mark Lewis helping out as well. Working songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Damning the Heavens", "Cattle Call", "The Last Kind Words" and "Monsters of the Deep". A June 5 release via Roadrunner Records is expected.

DEVILDRIVER will support Norwegian symphonic black metallers DIMMU BORGIR on their North American tour beginning on April 20 in Cleveland, Ohio. Also appearing on the bill are KATAKLYSM and UNEARTH.
