DEUS OTIOSUS Parts Ways With Drummer, Announces Replacement

March 13, 2012

Danish death metallers DEUS OTIOSUS have parted ways with drummer Søren Bentsen and have replaced him with Jesper Olsen. The band states: "Like Peter Engkjær [guitar] and Jesper Holst [bass], Jesper Olsen also has a past in HIDEOUS INVASION, so we're keeping things within the family."

DEUS OTIOSUS's debut album, "Murderer", was released last year via FDA Rekotz. The band is currently working on material for the follow-up release, which it hopes to begin recording during 2012.

Adds the group: "Jesper has already been playing with the band for some time. He's doing a great job and we're continuing the work with the songs for our second album with him."

DEUS OTIOSUS is:

Anders Bo Rasmussen - Vocals
Henrik Engkjær - Guitars
Peter Engkjær - Guitars
Jesper Holst - Bass
Jesper Olsen - Drums
