DESTRUCTION/KREATOR Russian Date Cancelled, SCHMIER Throws A Fit

DESTRUCTION and KREATOR's co-headlining show at Dynamo Sports Hall in Moscow, Russia on March 29 was cancelled by the Russian promoter because of problems with the venue. Commented DESTRUCTION bassist/vocalist Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer: "This is ridiculous. Our German agent, All Access, will work no longer with this Russian agent! We've applied [for] our visas, we've booked our flights, the disappointment is fuckin' unreal! Incredible! Our numerous and faithful Russian fans waited twenty years for this event and a fuckin' dilettante destroyed all their expectations and dreams of getting a great THRASH metal evening! But we won't give up — we will fight for a THRASH ATTACK in MOTHER RUSSIA. FUCK, I'm pissed!!!"
