DEMONICAL: New Record Deal, Vocalist Announced

DEMONICAL, the new Swedish death metal band featuring three former members of CENTINEX, has inked a multi-album deal with Germany's Cyclone Empire Records. The group's first album will be recorded in January/February 2007 for an April release. Release dates/details for other territories have yet to be finalized.

In other news, DEMONICAL has announced the addition of Ludde Engellau from Swedish grinders REMASCULATE as the group's new vocalist. "Ludde is a great guy with a really powerful voice, so now DEMONICAL sounds more brutal than ever!!" the band writes in an online update. "Just wait and hear..."

DEMONICAL will take part in two Europan tours next spring/summer. First, they will tour central Europe (mostly Germany) during April and May as the support act for DERANGED and MASTER. The second trip will run through Sweden, Denmark and Germany in July and will feature DEMONICAL as the opening act for U.S. cult band NUNSLAUGHTER. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

DEMONICAL recently posted its entire promotional CD, "Bloodspell Divine", on its MySpace page. The four tracks featured on the demo, which was recorded at Necromorbus Studios (WATAIN, ONDSKAPT, MÖRK GRYNING),are as follows:
