DEMON DOG SPERM Signs With OPEN GRAVE RECORDS

October 22, 2006

Open Grave Records has announced the signing of Allentown, PA-based band DEMON DOG SPERM.

Formed in 2005 with the lineup of Sid (vocals),Deron Christman (guitar),Steve Lelong (bass) and Dennis Christman (drums) and later adding Chris Reinhart as a second guitarist, DEMON DOG SPERM (also known as D.D.S.) has shared the stage with acts such as CLUTCH, SALIVA, EXODUS, CRISIS, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD and won the Van's Warped Tour Battle of the Bands in 2005 and securing themselves a spot on the Warped tour. According to a press release, the band cites its influences as the "downtuned distortion of ACID BATH, MORTICIAN, SIX FEET UNDER and the song flow of CLUTCH, HATEBREED, and NOTHINGFACE. . . Their triple vocals attack, distinctive guitar sound, sonic bass and percussive assault contribute to the bands originality. DEMON DOG SPERM fills the missing piece you've always been looking for in metal but couldn't put your finger on it." A track from the band's demo, entitled "Tumor", can be downloaded from the Open Grave Records web site at this location.

DEMON DOG SPERM will enter the studio in late 2006 to begin recording its debut album.
